However, on the Federal Government Network I used to manage we initiall started out doing a full backup of our file servers on Monday night and then incremental backups each night the rest of the week and found out that (1) it will take longer to recover if needed from the backups and (2) the Incremental backups can get confusing and unless you are very careful it can be done out of order and mess things up. ![]() SOME disc backup programs have the capability to do "incremental" backups (backup what has changed since the last backup) but if you use this function you need to do it on a frequent and regular basis.
